Story

Dear Friends,

You may be pleased to learn that I am still alive and have completed the marathon in about 4 hours and 20 minutes. I am experiencing pain from the tip of my head to the tips of my toes and even sleeping hurts. The fact I had a virus for a week before the race and that I cracked my knee on the corner of the bed yesterday morning, did not help me. My legs lost power after 17 miles and the last 9 miles were extremely painful. The marathon is 26 miles and 385 yards and I will confess my eyes filled with tears when I saw a sign on Birdcage Walk telling me I had '385 Yards to Go!'

I saw the Massaai warriors and slapped 2 of them on the back, they were running with two soldiers wearing boots.
