For the last few years I have been restoring and converting a Bristol VR Double Decker bus in preparation for the trip of a life time. Leaving in mid April 08 we will leave from Bristol and journey to Nepal and back, visiting more than 20 countries and covering more than 20000 miles of adventure.
If our last pivotal visa is not granted and we can not travel through Pakistan we will run our contingency plan, travelling to Iran, back through the "Stans" and Russia, diverting up through Scandinavia to the Arctic Circle and the North Cape. This will be an amazing adventure!
The bus is fully equipped for the job, with kitchen, bathroom, shower, three double cabins and a unique fold down roof (low bridges won't stop us!)
The project has been a massive undertaking and built entirely by ourselves (Matthew lumber and Dan spokes.)  We have also paid for all the costs ourselves alongside some help from some very kind product sponsors such as Goodyear, donating a set of tyres (plus spares, essential on such a big trip!) and some very generous sponsorship from expedia (www.expedia.co.uk) for our fuel costs.                         - Thank you! -
