liverpool - Chester Bike Ride · 16 June 2009

To help and support heart and lung transplant patients of the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne both financially and by providing facilities for recreation to enable them to improve their condition. Also to educate the public of the need for organ donation.

Story

Okay- Along with friends and colleagues I'm going to be cycling from Liverpool to Chester and then back again, a mere 54 miles in total on Sunday July 5th 2009.

I shall be riding in aid of The Freeman Heart and Lung Transplant Association, who work tirelessly in their support for the Lung and Heart transplant patients at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, and having seen the sterling work they do first hand whilst my mum was in their care a few years ago I know that any contributions would be greatly received and put to good use.

...forgot to mention that I shall of course be having to cycle to the city centre to start the ride, and alas, back home afterwards making it an aprox 60 miles in total...I only state this incase these extra miles can spur you into coffing up!

Would also like to convey my gratitude to everyone who has sponsored me thus far! If I haven't contacted you yet to thank you personally I will!  Thanks again!
