Those of you who know me well, know that I'm always up for a challenge.  If you know me that well, you'll also know just how much I enjoy my food and drink, so this is going to be quite a challenge!

It's been 6 years since I last ran a marathon, and the longest I've run this year is 8 miles (as of the 3rd of February), so I still have quite some way to go.  However, with your support and generosity I'll make it over the finish line (at some point!).

Not only will you be supporting me, but you'll also be helping a very worthy cause - the Neurofibromatosis Association.  Neurofibromatosis (NF) is one of our most common genetic disorders, and affects 1 in 2,500 people worldwide - including 25,000 in the UK alone.  Not only can NF cause unsightly disfigurements, it often causes complications which can result in behavioural problems, curvature of the spine, tumours and premature death.
