A friend of mine works for CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids) - a charity that sends underprivileged children on well deserved holidays in Cornwall.

I have recently had knee surgery so I'm using the Great Manchester Run on Sunday 17th May to build confidence, get fit again, raise a few pounds for a good cause and lose a few pounds from the old waistline...!! 

Anything that you think you can give will be gratefully received – as Tesco keep telling us “Every Little Helps.....”
