Story

Hey! Thanks for visiting my justgiving page :)

Hopefully you know I'm running the Birmingham half marathon to raise money for Birmingham's cancer research project. For those who remember last time I ran the half marathon the only good cause was me being bedridden for 3 days after not being able to walk... so this time I'm doing it for something worthwhile, yay!

Please have a read of the info below and feel free to give whatever you like.

Cheers,

Matt

Info on Birmingham Cancer Research:

Cancer researchers at the University have:

Reduced early diagnosed breast cancer mortality rates by 7%

Found ways of diagnosing childhood cancers without invasive procedures

Run a drug trial, which could reduce the risk of bladder cancer recurring by a third.

I also read in the Metro last week that they've discovered taking MDMA could lead to a breakthrough in treating blood cancer. Which is awesome.
