The Bone Cancer Research Trust is the leading charity dedicated to fighting primary bone cancer. Our mission is to save lives and improve outcomes for people affected by primary bone cancer through research, information, awareness and support.

Story

I made it !! It took 4 hours 47 minutes and 17 seconds, I had aimed to be sub 5 hours so I was very happy !!

Thank you so much to everyone that supported me through my training up to and including the race. Your support and generosity really helped me get to the finish line and I am touched and extremely appreciative.

So why did I take on this frankly ridiculous project? Well, Guy Francis is my brother-in-law and since he lost his fight against Bone Cancer in 2002 I have tried to raise money for the Guy Francis Bone Cancer Research Fund. It is now one of several small charities who joined forces to become a National Charity - The Bone Cancer Research Trust.

This is Guy Francis' story - please take a few moments to follow the link and read about this amazing individual ....
