In January I was commissioned by a British based mine clearance company, The Development Initiative, to do a series of shots of their work in Southern Sudan.

While there I visited a clinic for a community which had set up on land recently made available by this clearance

The picture shown here was of a child at that clinic suffering from measles

Half an hour later he was dead

This July I will be participating in the 3 Peaks Challenge raising money for Medecins Sans Frontieres who have promised to earmark all the money raised for their measles programme in Southern Sudan
