UPDATE: I have completed the ride despite many setbacks (temporarily dislocated shoulder due to mobile phone driver and 2 weeks of viral gastritis and in Scotland some awful headwinds) I rode 1140 miles at an average of about 60 miles a day. It was an incredible experience and thank you to all who have donated so far and feel free to donate if you haven't yet!

Hello, my name is Matt Reason and welcome to the JustGiving page for my cycle ride from John 'O' Groats to Land's End. I hope to withstand 1125 miles (the route is not yet decided) of saddle sore and the unpredictable British weather, all in aid of the Alzheimer's Society. I intend to raise at least £1000 with the desire to help and improve the care of Alzheimer's patients in Britain and fund vital research. Information about Alzheimer's society and what they do can be found here on their website. I understand that £1000 pounds will only have a small impact but with your help I hope to reach and exceed that target and maybe some people will be inspired to raise more money or donate themselves.
