The Mongolian Charity Rally 2008.

The plan....On July 5th 2008, I leave London on a totally inappropiate motorbike, ride 10,000 miles, TOTALLY UNSUPPORTED, to Ulaam-Bataan Mongolia.

Along the way I must avoid being knocked down, shot at, robbed, raped, kidnapped, cheated, scammed, sold for camels and generally not killed from London > Czech Rep > Romania > Turkey > Iran > Turkmenistan >Uzbekistan > Kryrgyzstan > Khazakhstan > Russia > Mongolia!

Once I make it to Mongolia, my motorbike and all of accessories will be given to the rally organisors and all of the proceeds will go towards the Children’s Development Protection Foundation (Mongolia)

The charity rallies organisation is run by GO HELP, a uk based registered charity run by unpaid trustees, unlike some other similar rallies where the organisors take a cut then donate the rest to charity, this charity does not!

So what am i giving? I am giving one of my motorbikes and I am covering all of my own personal expenses and insurances as well as the flight back from Mongolia. Nobody is paying me to have a free holiday.

Totally skint? Still want to help? No problem. I am also trying to get equipment that i will need along the way. Camping, tools, tyres, bike clothing, web deisign, stickers, printing, maps, anything, Everything!! EVERYTHING gets given to the Childrens Protection & Development fund (Mongolia).
