Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in people’s homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.

Story

Most people's lives have sadly been touched by cancer, and I know this is a illness close to many peoples' hearts.  I wanted to help to try to raise money to improve care and help make life more comfortable for those who are terminally ill.

The expedition will involve up to ten hours of strenuous climbing and trekking each day in possible extremes of heat, cold and high altitude.  This will be physically challenging for me, but I'm sure my minor suffering will hammer home to me the physical and mental suffering those people who are affected by cancer face daily.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Marie Curie Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

I'm sure you will agree this is an extremely worthwhile cause.
