Story
It was sometime around December when a group of intrepid do-gooders hit on the plan to do a cycle ride for charity.
Maybe it was the beer talking....actually it was the beer talking that led to the plan to do the journey from Southport on the West Coast to Hornsea on the East Coast - a distance of 215 miles.
Many weeks of ill-prepared Sunday morning training followed during which we realised the value of gloves, foot mittens and a strange potion called Chamois Cream. Even the snow couldn't stop us...well it did...but we were still training in spirit. Probably.
The date of the momentous journey is rapidly drawing upon us. The team sets forth on 19th April. It's all in aid of a great cause, The Brain Tumour Charity, so please take the time to donate to our page.
