I have chosen this charity to support a friend's father whose courage in fighting his illness has been an inspiration to me.
As a tribute to my son , Nick (www.remembernickmoore.com), I am running in the 4km Green Park Challenge in Reading on 9th April at 10.15. Nick, who excelled at most sports and kept himself very fit, was constantly telling me to improve my own fitness. He had hoped to go on to study sport science at university, but sadly died in a car accident in November 2004. He was just 17.
