After BIRC (British Indoor Rowing Championships) last Sunday it's now back to endurance training for this event. Tuesday - 2.3mile run, 10K row & 13.6mile walk. Wednesday - Rowed a HM (21097meters) then a 2.3mile run

Stu has been concentrating on sprint training this week as he has a major competition coming up soon, BIRC in Nottingham. His race is a mere 2000m ! Hopefully we'll do a few more during our record attempt. Good luck to Stu for his upcoming race. His goal is to finish just under 7 mins.

Famtastic to see some money coming in ! Thanks for support ! Excited but a little nervous as I now realise there's now pulling out now lol !

Hi, thanks for visiting Stuart & Maurice's Just Giving Page. We are attempting to set a New World Record for the longest tandem continual row using the Concept 2 indoor rower. We will take it in turns to row continually and have set a provisional target of between 40-50 hrs. The rules state that the rower must not stop ! The venue for this WR attempt is Southlands High School, Chorley, Lancashire on the 2nd May 2012. We will try to arrange a live webcam feed so you can hopefully keep track of our progress and watch us suffer ! All monies raised will be split between British Heart Foundation and Southlands High School. This will be an official world record, sanctioned by Concept 2 and hopefully by Guinness World Records. Please sponsor us to finish or by the hour ! It's for a great cause !!!
