My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you are aware, since few years I enjoy running. I do it for fun. i enjoy running in new cities when travelling for business, i enjoy reaching targets I set (in the picture you can see when i run my first marathon). I discovered few months ago that I can also run for charity.

Kileva is a foundation created by one friend of mine that spend all his spare time in managing it. It provides support and encouragment to unpriviledged children and their families in the remote Sagallan villages near town of Voi in Southern Kenia.

Today, skip somenthing unnecessary (you can skip your three/four coffes, or maybe you can decide not to buy newspaper or you can renounce to the croissans with cappuccino) and donate all the saved money to Kileva.

MY COMMITMENT: I will try to improve my best time on the half marathon. I will practice at least 3 times a week for then next two months and more important I will have fun with other colleague and friends as well.

The Kileva Foundation provides support and encouragement to underprivileged Kenyan children and their families. Its two major projects are the building of the Kileva Eastfield School in Mwakoma and the Kileva Medical Dispensary in Kirumbi which are remote villages about 15 km from the town of Voi in Kenya.
