Max and Joe are brothers who are 7 and 10 who wanted to help children of their own age gain an education. They decided to try to climb the three highest peaks in the UK. Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis in three weekends.

Thanks to all of you who donated and left messages of encouragement.

We are now planning our two peaks challenge in Ireland which we want to climb in less than 14 hours. We will open a new page iin a few weeks.

We finished by climbing Ben Nevis this weekend (19th June) and it was the most difficult due to the weather which was really sunny. We got yo the top in 2 hrs and 45 minutes and down in 5 hrs and 25 mins. We all camped at the bottom to rest.

Thanks to everyone who has sponsored Joe and I, we really appreciate it, knowing we were doing the challenge for a good cause kept us going when wee were tired out.

The money should keep an African child in education for over three years, so your donation is really usefull.

Two down and one to go. Max and Joe climbed Snowdon via the Pyg track last Sunday and Scafell from Wasdale head today (saturday) in 2 hours and 8 mins. We plan to climb Ben Nevis in two weekends time.

Joe (7) was first to the top on both mountains however Max (10) was insistent that he was cheating !

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and finding a few pounds to help our chosen Charity EduKaid.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to EduKaid and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

EdUKaid is a UK based charity that aims to enable the children of the developing world to gain dignity and future prosperity for themselves and their communities by providing education.

We want your donated money to go towards sponsoring a child through school in Tanzania. The cost is around £10 per month so if we meet the target we should be able to help a child through almost two years of schooling. Your donation directly pays for their uniform, shoes, socks, exercise books, pens and paper, and any other school fees.

Please find a few pounds to help them, and each pound gives us another reason to not give up when we are near to the top !

Thanks Max and Joe  xx.
