Story
My name is Maxwell Hannah and in the summer of 2011 myself and James Anderson embarked on a daring quest through Europe. We ran the Via Francigena in 59 days, covering the equivalent of a marathon a day. The Via Francigena is a medieval pilgrimage route from England to Rome covering the distance of around 1,300 miles and hosts some of the most difficult terrain in Europe, not least the Alps. It was a great experience and felt I learnt allot form the trip and am thankful to all those who supported me along the way. It is needless say with out the support of my friends and family both me and James would have perished along the way.
I decided to raise money for the British lung foundation as I am someone who thoroughly enjoys the challenges of sports and have realised the importance of healthy lungs amidst hours of pain staking training. I hope, I have been able to raise a good amount of money to those who have lung related illnesses and thank all those who donated and supported me on the run.
If you stumble upon this page please do leave a donation as it would mean allot to myself and the charity.
