I finished the marathon in 3 hours and 21 mins, finishing in 3200 th place, out of a total field 34000. Although this was just outside my target of 3 hours and 15 mins I was very happy with my result

Support throughout was incredible, and absolutely vital when the going got tough and it started to rain at mile 14.  Thinking of the generosity of everbody so far was inspiration enough to keep me going, as well as the memory of my friend, who I am sure was there with me in spirit.

I am now taking a well earned rest, and allowing my aching legs and blistered feet a little time to recover.

For anybody who has sponsored me so far, I would like to say a huge thank you for your support.
