Brighdeen and Claire are walking theMarathon for PIPs  who are based in Belfast  (Public Initiative for the Prevention of Suicide and Self Harm).

Its a great charity which has recently opened a new centre inDuncairnGardens for those who are suicidal, depressed or are involved in self-harm. Thanks to previous fundraising most of the money for the centre has already been raised. However there is still a shortfall of £25,000. The centre serves the whole community and is designed to act as a centre of excellence for for all of Northern Ireland.

Suicide, Depression and Self Harm are massive and increasing problems in our society that have only recently begun to be addressed. Hopefully our fundraising will bring further awareness and eventually lasting solutions
