Story

On Saturday 17 September 2016 I will be competing in Ironkids Wales. Far more demanding than its sister event in which Dad is participating (Ironman Wales), this is a 500m run through the streets of Tenby. Up until race day I will remain focussed on diet (Haribo, Pom Bears & other essential nutrients) and calisthenics (wrestling my siblings and doing handstands in the garden).

Whilst my heroism in completing this epic feat of endurance is stout enough, I feel duty bound to do some good for others in the process. I have therefore chosen to raise money for Velindre Cancer centre as it is extremely close to my heart (as it sadly is for many) - in June 2015 I lost my Taid, my best friend, to cancer. Velindre was the charity dearest to him (he most recently ran for Velindre in 2014). Please don't feel obliged, although any sponsorship is gratefully received.

Oh yeah, and Dad asked that I mention his Ironman again - 3.8km swim, 180km cycle and 42km run. Sounds a doddle...
