WE DID IT!Congratulations to everyone who took part in the 3 Peaks Challenge, all the members of the 36 and 24 hour teams, plus the invaluable support crews, should be thoroughly proud of what we did over the weekend. Pity the views from the top weren’t much cop for a lot of us, but anyone who got to the top of a mountain, at whatever speed, or helped them do it should give themselves a big pat on the back.
It was a weekend that featured a bit of everything – drama, stellar performances, people going through the pain barrier, great encouragement – and a close encounter with an enormous chopper! There’ll be more when I get some photos in (anyone who has any, please email them to me asap), and a big thanks to everyone who has donated in support of the New Children’s Hospital Appeal.
