The McMahon/Clark 3 Peaks Challenge · 18 April 2007

Working in partnership with the school, the charity exists to support the financing of projects that cannot be funded from the schools state budget.

Story

We haven't done anything like this before. We probably never will do again! But just for once the McMahon/Clark family are trying to do something selfless. The entire family is intending to climb the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in just three consectutive days! That's right -- Shirley, Gary, Kieran & Amy climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon in a single long weekend.

Those that know us well will be split into two camps:
1. Our friends who believe we can do this and want to support our efforts.
2. The others who are willing to give large sums to see us suffer weeks of training only to end up somewhere up the wrong mountain in a blizzard (ok, that's most of you).
Either way we really would appreciate you sponsoring us for the challenge.

The money we raise will be split between the world renowned Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital who will receive 20% of all donations and the Friends of Sandringham School which is the parents group that supports the local secondary school both our kids attend.

Many thanks for your support! If you want to check out the 'parent' web site for this event please visit http://www.justgiving.com/sandringham3peaks
