Story
After a work trip to Nigeria a few years ago, I began sponsoring a baby boy. Shakiru is now five and lives in a special children's village in Gwagwalada, Nigeria, a place of refuge for 104 vulnerable children. He's growing into a fantastic little boy - this year he won most improved pupuil prize at school, is easy-going and outspoken (!) and welcomes people into his family house with a smile. His photos show him joyful, with a twinkle in his eye, making the best of life.
Please give whatever you can: the price of a coffee or tube trip is a book for the school, something new to wear or money towards a much needed water treatment plant.
Go on, do it now. Sponsor me staggering my way round a Tough Mudder and in doing so be a part of Shakiru's life. Thank you.
