<p>Thank you for visiting my sponsorship page.</p> <p>A group of us who work at Meadows Leisure Centre are completing a sponsored swim in aid of a local charity - Walking With Giants.</p> <p>The charity is an excellent cause and seeks to enrich the lives of those affected by Primordial Dwarfism. The charity is completely voluntary with those involved holding down jobs at the same time just to ensure that all of the money available can be used effectively.</p> <p>The charity is set up with the aim of creating opportunities of those with Primordial Dwarfism to meet, Provide adaptive and medical needs, Facilitate education and awareness, Facilitate research as well as Physician Support.</p> <p>More information is available on their website: http://www.walkingwithgiants.org</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The actual event will involve each person swimming a minimum of 3 miles (192 lengths of a 25m pool) which will result in a combined team effort of covering over twice the distance of the English channel.</p> <p>This will take place at Meadows Leisure Centre on 2nd April 2011.</p> <p>It is a tough event to complete, it is a good cause to give for, so all you need to do is dig deep and sponsor us to do it. Any amounts will be greatly appreciated as we are trying to generate as much as possible between us, with all of the money going to the charity.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
