Coffee Fundraiser at Phillip McCallen Motorcycles

Unit 10/11 Portman Business Park, Moira Road, Lisburn, Northern Ireland, BT28 2XF

I am fundraising for The Bike Experience who need funding to continue operating next year.  This charity enabled me to get back on a bike in a safe, controlled and enjoyable environment.  I was aware of this charity before sustaining my spinal cord injury and this gave me hope throughout my time in hospital that motorcycling was still possible.

Attending TBE at a disused runway at an RAF base in England allowed me to get back on a bike, not a penny was asked for.  Leathers, boots, helmet and gloves were all provided along with the modified bikes, petrol and the fantastic volunteers who gave up a Sunday to help myself and others to get on/off bikes and take us through the learning process.

All of this allowed me to move on with my goal of completing the lap at Armoy road races where I was injured.  If you are unable to attend the coffee day at McCallen Motorcycles then please feel free to donate to this incredible charity so they can continue to do wonderful things for people who have difficult circumstances and help them put ear-to-ear smiles on everyones faces!!!
