We’re your local air ambulance charity, saving lives across Kent, Surrey, and Sussex when every second counts. Our helicopters bring the emergency room to the scene fast, delivering advanced lifesaving care to those who suddenly become injured or critically ill, 24/7.

Story

Staggered, stumbled and at times had to resort to crawling on all fours, using hardened hands and knackered knees but I got there in the end!

I'd like to tell you all it was an absolute doddle but I would be lying, by god it was tough, more than once I thought I'd be calling on the services of Kent Air Ambulance Trust - or their Chinese counterparts - to airlift me out of there double quick.

But then, if it wasn't tough, it wouldn't be much of a challenge, would it? And I can now look back on it with a greater sense of achievement because, as we were told througout the trek, that's precisely what it was.

All in, and I am just about all done in, it was something I'm pleased to have done and I want to thank Kent Air Ambulance Trust for giving me the opportunity to do so and most of all I want to express my genuine heartfelt thanks to all of you who generously donated to make it all possible.

I thank you.

Mark,
