On March 12th 2011, I am jumping out of a plane, the thought of which absolutely terrifies me!!! Having jumped out of an aircraft, I will be accelerating towards the ground at 120 miles per hour (that is really really fast...) before releasing a parachute and (hopefully) safely landing, alongside Lucy Foster and Max Shaw, who are jumping with me!
Somehow, I am going to face my fears and sky dive to help raise money for READ International, an almost entirely student-volunteer-led charity which collects, sorts and ships disused educational resources from the UK to Tanzania (350,000 books to date).
Having previously worked in schools and villages in Africa, I have been made completely aware of how much the children attending these schools want to learn and need all the books and resources we can send to them.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
