In April 2016, I am taking part in the China Hiking Challenge in order to raise a lot of money which will be used to help people who are living with cancer. I will spend 11 days trekking the Great Wall of China. This will be an unforgettable experience and I am very excited to take on this challenge. To take part in this event, I must raise £3500 for the incredibly worthy charity, Macmillan. 

Macmillan's ambition is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire millions of others to do the same.

No one should face cancer alone. Nearly half of us will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetimes, which means the need for the support Macmillan nurses give is set to increase dramatically. As treatments for cancer improve, more and more people are living with cancer, and this means that they need more than medical help. Macmillan provides practical, emotional and financial support which gives these people the energy and inspiration to take back control of their lives.
