Story
My name is Mel and i am an HCA with the Urology Nurse Specialists.
Sadly in February this year i lost my lovely partner Malcolm. He had been a patient here for many weeks up on Albury Ward,he suffered from Sarcoidosis.
Many of you around the Hospital would have met him at some point during your day as he was a Paramedic and then later he worked for Hospital Transport.
He was a truly wonderful man with a smile and sense of humour to brighten even the worst of days.
Albury Ward were wonderful to us both during his stay and i am forever in their dept for all their kindness and most of all their hugs and tissues which i must say i had rather alot of.
Then theres Dr McAllister, words fail me Uncle Bill......our pet name for him!!
He was so lovely and caring and this is why i am here,to say THANK YOU.
On 5th September my daughter Meghan and i are doing a 43 mile walk to try and raise money for Albury for a High Flow machine which helped Malcolm during his stay.
There are sponsor forms on their way to many departments so pleeeeeease donate to our wonderful cause.
Thank you also to all those who have helped me get to here, its not been easy.
This is my way of saying Thank You to everyone but most of all to my lovely man Malcolm xxxxThanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
