Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

In a moment of madness at the end of last year, I decided to sign up for the 2008 London Triathlon.  With the day looming ever closer, I am continually asking myself what I am letting myself in for!

Never one to miss an opportunity, I've decided that if I am to go through the pain, I can at least raise some money for a good cause whilst I do it.

The Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation ("BOS") is the largest primate rescue project in the world, with nearly 1000 orangutans in it's care.  BOS is the only organisation actively rescuing wild orangutans from oil-palm plantations, as well as rehabilitating orphaned orangutans, displaced by land clearance projects.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Borneo Orangutan Survival gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

By helping to save the orangutans you are also saving their rainforest habitat, so please donate today!

Thanks,

Mel
