Story
62 of our hospital staff and consultants will be taking part in the Run Balmoral this April to raise money for the invaluable work Aberdeen Cyrenians do throughout our city and shire.
Aberdeen Cyrenians was established in 1968. Originally just providing food and shelter, the services now aim to meet all the varying needs of people affected by homelessness in Aberdeen and the surrounding area. They cater for specific groups of homeless people including young single people in crisis, rough sleepers, older people and women of all ages.
“We believe that if you give a bed to someone in need of a home, a meal to someone hungry, or shelter and warmth to someone cold then their problems will be only resolved in the short-term, but if we give someone who has not had a fair chance in life time to express their problems and give them understanding, caring advice, new opportunities and life and work skills, then they will have a real chance to lay foundations which will enable them to contribute positively to society in the long term.” - Aberdeen Cyrenians
Our team fundraising target is £2000.00 - help us smash this goal!
