Thanks for coming here and at least thinking about coughing up some cash for the Royal Lifeboats!Donating through this site is much faster, easier and more direct than just handing me a tenner when you see me - the money goes directly to RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added on top at no cost to you. The RNLI does a lot of thankless work all over the UK coastal waters, saving thousands of people each year. Funds raised here will go directly towards training volunteers at my local station on the Thames, as they need lots of specialised lifesaving courses for the work they do.As a boat dweller on the Thames, they're a charity very close to my heart (and home!) and I'm proud to be running for them in the Bupa London 10,000.
