We did it!

My friend Laura asked me to run my very first half marathon with her around the same time as my friend Trev lost his Mum. Having lost his Dad to cancer in the same year, he courageously set about organising a fantastic 'Celebration of Life' party and cycling 127 miles on the Liverpool to Leeds canal to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care and Sue Ryder Care, Wheatfields Hospice.

To help him with his fundraising quest, I will be running on Sunday 10 May in memory of Trev's Mum and Dad, Ann and Raymond Lund and all my friends and family whose lives have been touched by cancer.
