As most of you might already know I dont like heights too much and thats why it really meant a lot for me to be put myself in this position. This was a personal challenge that I had committed to doing, a test of my bravery and determination.
I arrived for the abseil on the 23rd Sept at 10am. I was a little nervous at first but thanks to Nicola from Aurora I managed to get myself in the zone and ready to climb over the bridge. I went third and made sure the royal marines kept tight hold when I climbed over the bridge but once I got on my way I actually enjoyed the experience.
Its great that you have all helped to raise some money for the foundation as well as raising my confidence and helping me to face my fears.
