In November I will be taking part in the ‘Making Tracks’ cycle challenge across Kenya from Nairobi to Kisumu (435kms) in support of Kenyan Orphan Project (KOP).

KOP was started in 2001 by 3 medical students at in response to global problems of poverty and the HIV/AIDS epidemic, particularly in the very deprived areas of . Since then KOP has been working on a range of health, education and social welfare projects with the aim to fight against poverty, disease, social exclusion and injustice amongst orphans and vulnerable children.

I’m very proud that Festival Republic is an ongoing supporter of KOP and ‘Team FR’ will be part of a group of over 50 riders taking part in the challenge.

Thank you for your generous donations.

Melvin Benn
