In September 2011, a group of mostly, unfit and overweight old men will be attempting to cycle between Edinburgh, Belfast, Dublin the end up hopefully in Thornbury, Bristol, a distance of 500 miles.
The riders are, Chris Wilson, Michael Boynton, Steven Boakes, Mal White and Ray Stephenson. In N Ireland, we will be joined by Denise Bustany and her colleague William Campbell for the ride to Dublin.
MRF funds research to prevent meningitis and septicaemia, improve survival rates and outcomes.
They promote education and awareness to reduce death and disability, and give support to people affected.
