RIP Jane Tomlinson 1964 - 2007
This page was set up specifically for the Race For Life & 10k series of runs. I ran 2 of these last year and completed another 2 for Bighearted Scotland (fundraising page now closed) and raised £310 for them!
The first one for this fundraising page took place on the 3rd June 2007 at Holyrood and was a 5k, it was FAB!!!! The other one I've run was on the 7th Oct 2007 (Hopetoun House) and that was a 10k run.
I DID have a new new challenge ahead - I was going to run the Half-Marathon on March 16th, but I have been dealing with some physical problems, and am only just getting back into running again. So the next run will be the BUPA Great Edinburgh Run on the 4th May 2008.
Hubby and I have also entered the Great Scottish Walk on the 22nd June 2008, after that I'll be running another 10k in October :)
Cancer is, unfortunately, close to many peoples hearts, so is of course a worthwhile cause. I dedicate this page to my husbands parents who died when he was young of cancer (in the 70's) and my Godfather "John Macsween" who died in 2007.
Also, I'd like to dedicate this page to Jane Tomlinson who died on the 3rd Sept 2007.
