The Lullaby Trust exists to keep babies safe and to keep grieving families supported. We fund life-saving research, empower families with expert baby safety advice and support grieving families through their darkest days. We won’t give up until no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

My name is Ian Florence & I am the proud Pappa to a beautiful angel called Georgina. Georgina died as a result of SIDS or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Not A day passes that we don't think about her. With my 60th birthday approaching I wondered what I could do in memory of my beautiful granddaughter to help other families like mine and my daughter Nicki's. It was decided that I would shave my head and bead, and all monies raised would go to the charity that has supported my daughter since the day that Georgie flew to the angels.

Georgie left behind a heartbroken family - her mummy Nicki her big brother Bradley and her daddy - a year ago on the 17th of May Georgie's daddy Mal joined Georgie in heaven.  Since Georgie flew Nicki & Mal went on to have another beautiful daughter Caitlin and the Foundhation supported Nicki and Malcolm through the pregnancy and the months that have followed by placing Caitlin on a program called CONI Care of Next Infant. I'm doing this for them. And to in some way help other families like ours.

Visit Georgie and learn more about her here Our Angel Princess

There is also a Karoke Night happening to also help raise much needed funds to help the Foundation in it's vital life saving work with Babies and families.

I will be adding before and after photo's as soon as I possibly can
