Story

Team Desertaxi!

On July 19th, under the inspiration and guidance of Jimmy Walker from New York, Max Firman, Charles Oliver and Edward Monckton set off from Hyde Park in a 1991 LTI fairway (Black cab) for UlaanBaaatar in a wildly adventurous dash across 2 continents 18 countries 2 deserts and 11 mountain ranges to raise a shedload of money for Mercy Corps, a fantastic charity supporting some of the poorest and most vulnerable people in the world in over 100 countries. Mercy Corps has wonderful record of excellence and efficiency, reaching forgotten peple in the harshest and most far flung corners of the globe. Have a look at their website to find out more about their their silent disasters campaign. www.mercycorps.com/silentdisasters.  We are trying to do as much as we can to help these causes, so please dig deep.
