On 24th June 2008 seven mature members (average age around 60 years) of Meridian CC will commence a 3 week cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats, a total of 1038 miles, to raise money for the Minibus Fund at Chipstead Lake residential care home nr Sevenoaks in Kent

At the same time a team of residents at Chipstead, lead and encouraged by Spike, will use their static hand and foot operated cycles to pedal an equivalent distance over a similar period of time.

Our Team consists of Dave Sims, Danny Eagles, John Ropkins, Peter Hayes, Ron Castle, Mike Yeo and Bob Hazel.
