My story
Hi Folks,
We took the tandem to Copenhagen to join the rally at the UN Climate Change Conference. We had a brilliant ride across Essex and Denmark in the company of 26 other cyclists raising funds for Christian Aid. On arrival we were met by the Archbishop of Canterbury and we had the privilege of listening to Archbishop Desmond Tutu and attending the ecumenical service in Copenhagen Cathedral.
We feel honoured and delighted that so many people have sponsored our efforts - there is still time to join them! Your money will go towards helping some of those who have done least to cause climate change, but who are already suffering from its effects. We will continue to lobby for a better deal for the developing world.
