In just 3 hours, a group of us are going to attempt to swim a 'virtual channel' in the Middlemoor Police Headquarters Swimming Pool near Met Office in Exeter.  If we can get enough swimmers, who knows, we may get there and back!

UPDATE - We did it!  In fact, we more than did it!  We managed three channel crossings in the three hours - a total of 4150 lengths of the 25m pool!  As you can imagine, there were some heroic efforts, most notably, from Fiona Verney, Paul Nye, Camilla Mathison, Paul Ravens and Howard Young, all of whom managed over 300 lengths!  Nearly all other swimmers achieved personal bests, having never swum as far before - well done everyone!

Hearing Dogs is a charity which provides assistance dogs to deaf people. £500 will buy a Puppy Socialising Kit, helping Hearing Dogs to provide a 'socialiser' with everything that they need to welcome a new dog into their home;

£1000 will pay for a years Kennel Support, helping to support the accommodation and welfare of dogs in training; and

£5000 will help to support a partnership throughout the dog's working life.
