We are team Metta Bears, 14 of us who mostly have not met or know each other before decided to come together for a good cause. The word 'metta' is a multi-significant Pali word meaning loving-kindness, friendliness, goodwill, benevolence, fellowship, amity, concord, inoffensiveness and non-violence. The Pali commentators define metta as the strong wish for the welfare and happiness of others. In simple English, we are team Care Bears! 

We will be negotiating the challenging London city roads, inhaling exhaust fumes and dodging the double deckers! UPDATES: We have successfully completed our bikeathon challenge and have clocked up a total of 338 miles (540.8km), not including the distances it took us to the start point and back home!
