Alzheimer's Society - Memory Walk Marathon South · 11 September 2011 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

I am joining this challenge with a number of colleagues from work. I think I must be nuts to be honest - 26 miles I tell you!

We will set off on our 26 mile walk yes 26 miles just after sunrise on the 11th September 2011, near the majestic stones at Stonehenge. Our route then takes us over the expansive Salisbury Plains, along the Kennet and Avon canal past the Pewsey White Horse, near Silbury Hill and onwards to Avebury.

I am aiming to raise as much money as possible in support of the Alzheimer's Society, a fantastic charity that is very dear to my heart.
