Story

On 23 June, James Golding and Sean Newman (Chairman of Newmans Estate Agents) set off on a 3,500 mile bike ride across America from Los Angeles to Miami.

Their aim was to raise £100,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and other charities. Macmillan provided support to James and his family during his battle against cancer. James was given the all clear on 23 July 09 and to mark the 1st anniversary of that day James and Sean would have been crossing the finishing line. However halfway into their epic cycle ride across America, both Sean and James were hit by a truck travelling at 70mph.

Both sustained horrific injuries, but their biggest concern was raising their £100,000 target for Macmillan.

In order to help them out, the staff at myhomemove will be cycling the remaining 1000 miles Sean and James had left to go - albeit on exercise bikes, kindly donated by Enderby Leisure Centre, rather than the real thing!

Please be generous in donating to help us reach our target of £5,000.
