As you all know I'm running the Great North Run for the first time. I'm no runner...as my photo shows...but I'm trying to raise money for a really great charity.

I did some research with Children North East earlier this year, and I hope that running for the oldest children's charity in the North East will get them some exposure and much needed funds.

Swapping the rugby and football field for road running hasn't been easy, and I hope some of you will be able to help me reach my target.
