Cardiac Risk in the Young Verified by JustGiving
RCN 1050845 (England & Wales), SC052581 (Scotland)
Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

We have decided to take part in a Half Marathon and raise funds for CRY. We support this organisation because of the loss of a friend of ours. Jack Maddams sadly passed away in his sleep on the 30th March 2008 from a type of sudden death syndrome known as Brugada Syndrome.

We are hoping to raise awareness and in the process make a bit of money to donate to Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Everyone's support and sponsorships will be much much appreciated. You can either donate money now or after we finish the run.

Every single penny will go to CRY and we thank everyone for the contributions. Please send this to every one of your contacts and the more the better.
