My story
Many Thanks for visiting our fundraising page for Coeliac UK.
Michael's Coeliac was diagnosed 2 years ago. Now having to avoid wheat and gluten the first thing he thought was, "how am I going to survive without my beloved blueberry muffins!"
Coeliac is a condition that can lead to nutritional deficiencies and possibly osteoporosis and Type 1 diabetes. Long term undiagnosed coeliac disease is associated with a small risk of developing certain kinds of rare gut cancer.There is no cure but a gluten free diet can manage the condition. Coeliac UK has shown that there are many dietary alternatives for people living with the disease.
