Team Hike & Seek consists of 5 VINCI Construction UK ltd employees (Michael Bentley, Michael Prudham, Dave Naylor, Darren Locke and Vincent Boodeea) who will be taking part in the Mega Hike on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June 2009 on behalf of Medequip4kids which we think you will all agree is an extremely worthwhile charity.

We are delighted to be taking part in this event on behalf of MedEquip4kids and hope that our efforts in fundraising for them goes some way towards the equipment that will go into the new Women & Childrens Unit that we are building at North Manchester General Hospital.

MEGAHIKE - The Challenge:-

To complete MEGAHIKE you need to finish the 50 mile (80km) route in 24 hours (we are aiming to beat the sun and complete the route in 15 hours before the sun goes down!!!!).

To beat MEGAHIKE your team will need to complete the entire route before the sun sets.  MEGAHIKE takes your team of 4 through the heart of the Pennines trekking along the backbone of England the Pennine Way, and also encompasses the Pennine Bridleway and parts of the famous Mary Towneley Loop.

MedEquip4Kids:-

A Charity based in Manchester that reaches out to help children all over the region and beyond.  Their work is vital as they aim to ensure that children have access to the very best healthcare facilities whenever they fall ill, suffer injury or forced to deal with long-term medical conditions.  MedEquip4Kids rely totally on voluntarily donations.
