We are My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and we're absolutely committed to our goal: A World Free of MND. We will leave no stone unturned in the relentless pursuit of this goal as we fund, guide and enable the smartest, most efficient MND research to catalyse a cure for motor neuron disease.

Story

*** This challenge had to be postponed due to rugby fixtures changing since it was planned.  It will be moved to the 2023/24 season on a date TBC once new dates are announced.

I intend to cycle from Kingston Park in Newcastle, to Sandy Park in Exeter (or the other way, TBC) to fundraise for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, via every other premiership club in England (and via HQ, Twickenham!) in 5 days.

It will involve 150-miles a day for four days and then the final 100-miles on match day so I can be there to watch it!

Given recent sad news in rugby with Ed Slater’s diagnosis, I had to do this for an MND / rugby charity and given Doddie is a Newcastle legend, it had to be for his foundation.  I’ve done 700-miles before: but not in 5 days and therein lies the personal challenge for me as a cyclist.
